Whatever you call it...lacquer, polish or high sheen...this treatment can make a serious statement or be a clever accent in any design. From floor to ceiling, furniture to accessories...it has the power to add a little sexiness to a traditional space and is always a staple in modern design.

Brass

A hint of Brass has always been one of my favorite design elements.  So I was glad to see that it made the list of House Beautiful's top 2013 design trends.   

Here's my take on how it can be incorporated in your home, whether your interiors maybe Modern or Traditional.
